To confirm your order and initiate production, procurement, and logistics arrangements, an advance payment is required.

Advance Payment: 60% of the total order value payable at the time of order confirmation.

Balance Payment: Remaining 40% payable before final delivery or as instructed by our logistics team.
The advance payment secures your order and allows us to begin processing, manufacturing, quality inspection, and shipping arrangements.
3. Order Verification & Confirmation
Once a Partial COD order is placed:

A secure payment link will be shared for the advance payment.

Order processing will commence only after successful receipt of the advance payment.

Customers may be asked to confirm delivery details before dispatch.

4. Shipping & Delivery Process
After the product is manufactured, quality-checked, and dispatched:

Customers will receive shipment tracking details.

Our team may contact you once the shipment reaches the nearest delivery hub.

A secure payment link for the remaining balance amount will be shared before final delivery.
Delivery Commitment
Upon successful clearance of the remaining balance payment, delivery will generally be scheduled within 24–72 hours, depending on:

While we strive to meet these timelines, delivery schedules may vary due to circumstances beyond our control.
5. Customer Responsibility
Customers opting for Partial COD agree to:

Complete balance payment promptly when requested.

Inspect the product at the time of delivery.
Failure to respond to verification or payment requests may result in shipment delays.
6. Order Cancellation Policy
Before Processing
Customers may request cancellation before the product enters production, procurement, or dispatch stages.
After Processing Begins
Once the order has entered:

Quality inspection

Packaging

Dispatch
Cancellation requests may not be accepted.
Advance Payment Refund
Approved cancellations may be subject to deductions including:

Logistics expenses incurred up to the cancellation date
7. Refusal of Delivery
Furniture products involve significant transportation, packaging, and handling costs.
If a customer refuses delivery without a valid reason after shipment reaches the delivery location:

A logistics and handling fee of up to 25% of the total order value may be deducted from the advance payment.

Additional reverse logistics charges may apply where applicable.

The remaining eligible amount, if any, may be refunded or issued as store credit at the discretion of ALATERRE HOME FURNITURE.
Refusal of delivery due to personal preference changes after dispatch shall not qualify as a valid cancellation reason.
8. Failed Delivery Attempts
Additional charges may apply if delivery fails due to:

Failure to make the balance payment.

Repeated delivery rescheduling requests.
Any such costs may be recovered from the customer before reattempting delivery.
9. Fraud Prevention & Security
To ensure a secure transaction process:

Suspicious or high-risk orders may be cancelled at our discretion.

10. Policy Modifications
ALATERRE HOME FURNITURE reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Partial COD facility at any time without prior notice.
Updated terms will be published on the website and shall become effective immediately upon publication.
